How to start a project on Wikifactory:
Sign in to your Wikifactory account.
Click on the + button on the right top of any page.
Select the option Start a Project.
Complete the project's basic information.
Basic project information
All projects must have a minimum amount of information in order to be created:
Owner: You can start a project on your personal profile or under an Organisation that you are a member of.
Project type: Both Public and Private projects have access to the same collaboration tools, being the project visibility the main difference.
Name: Give your project a short, memorable name.
Description: Describe what your project is about in one phrase.
License: Select one of the project licenses from the list or upload a different one later.
Phase: Select the project development phase to help your colleagues understand the project status. Learn more about product development phases.
Topics: Add up to 3 hashtags so your project is listed on the chosen topic pages.
Invitations: Invite users or colleagues to your project straight away.
Document your new project
Once the project is created, you can start working on the documentation. Learn more about how to document your project and best practices.
If you're not sure about what to write or which option to choose, don't worry. All this information can be later modified.
