On Wikifactory, you don't need to have files named "final_final" or "draft", or even a version number. We take care of version control by requiring Contributions to the Project to have a Title and a Description that are logged in History.
If you want to update a file on your project, you just need to upload a new file with the same name as the one you want to replace. You will know that the Files Drive will update a file with a prior version if the file says updated, instead of added.
For example, if you want to replace the drone_assembly.stl file with a new version, you just need to make sure that the new file is also named drone_assembly.stl.
Recover old files
If you ever want to return to a prior version of a file you are working on, simply look back into History and download the Files from that point in time.
